Grey Dolan is on-air talent at WRLR.fm, where she hosts the eclectic music program Mood Swings every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central and the talk show Comics on Air.
A graduate of DePaul University with a degree in English, Grey is a published writer, director, actress, stand-up comedian, and radio personality who has built a career around telling stories in every medium she can get her hands on.
A lifelong theater enthusiast, she has performed in and directed Shakespeare, musicals, children’s theater, and dinner theater productions. Her stand-up comedy has taken her to clubs including The Gotham Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club in New York City, The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, The Improv and Zanies in Chicago, and comedy venues in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She also previously worked as on-air talent for WLIP 1050 AM in Kenosha and hosted the Bidchat series Friday Night Frights, where she happily chased the unexplained, the paranormal, and anything else that goes bump in the night by poking it with a stick.
Grey is currently preparing to publish her debut novel, Back to You for All of Time: Love Doesn’t Die. It Reincarnates, an open-door contemporary romance with a touch of the extraordinary. Exploring the idea that true love transcends time, the novel asks a simple question: Do soulmates find their way back to one another?
When she’s not behind a microphone or writing her next story, Grey is probably plotting her next adventure, drinking a Diet Coke, while being supervised by her ginger house cat and deaf dog. She’s also a proud Libra, which she considers an explanation for at least half of her life choices.
